INIS stands for the International NCP Implementation Survey.
You are invited to take part in a research survey about NCP and NCPT implementation among dietitians. The survey is web based and will require approximately 20 minutes of your time. The survey will be closed on June 20, 2023.
This research study is conducted by the International NCP and NCPT Implementation Survey (INIS) Consortium, where 23 countries have come together to understand how the NCP is implemented by dietitians around the globe.
The consortium is coordinated by Dr Elin Lövestam, Uppsala University, Sweden.
Responsible for data collection in the United States is the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Research, International and Scientific Affairs team, Dr. Constantina Papoutsakis and Dr. Alison Steiber. We would be honored if you could give us some of your valuable time so you can contribute in this global effort as a participant from the United States.
INIS first took place in 2017 with 10 countries participating including the US. There are several published papers that describe the results of the INIS consortium.
In the first round of INIS over 5,000 dietitians participated from the US. In the second (current) round 23 countries are participating and only about 650 people have completed the survey from the US so far since May 1st.
