NMAND supports SB4

As you may be aware, our New Mexico legislative session is in full swing. In addition to our dietetic licensure bill, NMAND is supporting Senate Bill 4 this session. Now, we need help from you!

What is SB 4?

- SB 4 is the Healthy Universal School Meals for Children Act. SB 4 would ensure 309,000 New Mexico children – regardless of income or circumstance – have access to nutrient dense, healthy meals at school. 

Where is SB 4 in the legislative process?

- SB 4 was passed in the Senate Education Committee and is now scheduled to be heard TODAY (3-2-23) in the Senate Finance Committee.
